Moon Festival, 9/22/10
September 22, 2010 was the Moon Festival in Taiwan. We had some family over for a BBQ on our roof. I took some photos of Taipei as night came on, and of the moon.

One day, Joanne, Tim and I went down to Dajia Wharf and rented some bikes. We road east past the airport along the Keelung River. Then we crossed over and rode back on the other side of the river. Taipei 101 was visible for much of the ride.

Tim and I spent a day at the zoo. We began at the “Formosan Animals” section, then on to the insects. The Australian wildlife display was closed, so we cruised on to the Asian Tropical Rainforest area, the Desert Animal area, the African Animal area, Bird World, and then the Pandas. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a good shot of the Pandas on account of too many people.
