		<description><![CDATA[Joanne, Tim, and I took a hike to the west peak of Mt. Datun in Yangmingshan National Park north of Taipei. The hike started out easy along a stone paved trail. After a while, it turned into a narrow footpath. One part of the trail tunneled through a cool tall grassy area. It finally headed straight up the side of Mr. Datun, with ropes in place to help hikers climb up.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Joanne and I took our dog Leia for a walk one day. We set off down the road along the valley from our community. A bridge crosses the stream to the opposite side, and from there a road goes back up the mountain. We hiked up past a temple before turning around and heading home again. I took photos along the way.]]></description>
