		<description><![CDATA[Joanne, Tim, and I took a hike to the west peak of Mt. Datun in Yangmingshan National Park north of Taipei. The hike started out easy along a stone paved trail. After a while, it turned into a narrow footpath. One part of the trail tunneled through a cool tall grassy area. It finally headed straight up the side of Mr. Datun, with ropes in place to help hikers climb up.]]></description>

But it was closed under construction, so we found a way to the river near the Dajia Wharf on the Keelung River upriver from the Yuanshan Hotel. We stayed there until sundown and watched the lights appear on the waterfront.]]></description>
